Antony Watson Q.C. has practised since 1968 in all aspects of intellectual property law (including patents, trade marks, copyright, confidential information and EEC anti-trust law) in all English Courts and Tribunals as well as the European Court, the European Patent Office, the European Commission and the Courts in Hong Kong. He has acted as Junior and (since 1986) as Leading Counsel in many of the leading intellectual property cases of the last 35 years. His clients have included numerous leading multinational pharmaceutical, biotechnology and mobile telecommunications companies as well as domestic and foreign manufacturers in a wide variety of other fields including aviation, electronics, oil, agricultural machinery, financial services etc. Antony Watson has acted in a number of large international arbitrations in the Intellectual Property field involving technologies such as float glass, pharmaceuticals and aviation. Other activities include being a joint editor of Terrell on Patents, a deputy High Court Judge, a one time deputy chairman of the Copyright Tribunal and acting as Arbitrator in International Arbitrations.
